I think I've been here before
You may have noticed that I'm a pretty perceptive guy.
I have always wanted a GPS thing hooked into Google Maps so that I could see where I am during a flight. Maybe most people don't care at all and they just sleep or something. They are jaded of flying perhaps, or maybe they are just dumb. I don't think I'll ever get tired of flying. I read a good book and look out the window often. They don't understand how cool it is to see the earth from above. Oh yeah, my favorite part is take-off, heheh.
Back to the perceptive part. I actually didn't need my GPS invention because I found out now after checking that I was absolutely correct on my guesses of where I was. I have seen this before, in my Colorado trip! I rock.

Jet Caught on SatCam Over Maine
Found this image as I was trying out Google's new satelite mapping feature. I was "virtually driving" from Boothbay Harbor ME to my house in nearby Damariscotta when I stumbled across this pic of a jet in flight and its vapor trail. Not sure why there's a double image--it might be an artifact of the processing used to capture the image from space. I'd guestimate the jet is cruising at about 40,000 feet, headed southwest, inbound from Europe. Looks like a Boeing 767 or an Airbus twin-something.
